The #blacklivesmatter  campaign started in the United States of America after a man named George Zimmerman killed an innocent young boy, And later on two more murders were also committed and all of these murders have one thing in common, which is that all these people whose lives were taken away African Americans. Later on the campaign started off as a way to commemorate all the innocent lives that were taken as a result of unnecessary violence (For more info about the Zimmerman case, please click on this linkGeorge zimmerman trial)

 Reaction of affected brands


The #blacklivesmatter Organization is very involved in a sense of, the way they engage in conversations on social media and they are very much unapologetic about what they think. The Organization is getting the spirit back by not apologising for being black, I mean who isn't proud though? They are also going all in by posting all pictures or videos of anyone trying to assault or oppress black people. Messages of comfort and the sense of belonging has also managed to get people part of this campaign, and instead of being ashamed to be a black person we should all embrace every aspect of our lives, black lives matter article.

what is the way forward?

 
The only way forward is for people to understand that we are human and yes we all are different in our own ways but that shouldn't mean I should be defined and judged just by the colour of my skin

As a black person it is exasperating to read about all these people that still throw racism attacks or people who think it is normal to threaten the lives of others. We as black people must stand our ground and we must appreciate what we have because our forefathers have fought for us way too hard for us to throw the towel like that... black is beautiful.

    Indeed my sister. We ought to embrace our blackness. With that being said, gets forget not to treat all races fairly but still stand against unfair treatment due to the colour of our skin.

    Its about time black people stopped apologizing for their black skin tone. For there's no need to but only the need to embrace it and show gratitude for being blessed with such colour.

    The U.S has recently legalised gay marriages... how about they legalise being black too... racial discrimination in South Africa existed for 5 decades and 20 years into democracy people think we should forgive and forget... in the same way a woman should never allow a man who raped her to dictate when she should "get over it", never allow white people to dictate how you should "get over" what they did to your ancestors... #BlackLivesMatter
